Pancake Day Shrove Tuesday, known as Pancake Day. What an excuse for gluttony, eh? Gorging on pancakes, savoury and sweet. Seeing just how many you can eat. Traditionally, marking the beginning of Lent. Thats what Shrove Tuesday originally meant. Using all the rich foods in the larder, Before fasting for Lent, Some find harder To resist, Than others, who have hardly missed, their treats, they may choose to sacrifice. Those guilty pleasures, which are naughty but nice. Then there are others who dont give a toss. For Pancake Day. Oh well, their loss!
