Pans BJJ Competition update: I lost my first fight to the guy who took gold and won the whole thing. He has been training for over a year and said this is his last tourney at white belt. Im glad I competed and for only starting in December and being sick for the past 2 weeks not training, Im not disappointed. The experience was great and has ignited a fire in me to train harder and get better. BJJ is addictive. It was also a great chance to represent Christ, I prayed with the guy before our fight and he said Thats the coolest thing anyone has ever done for me....That is the ultimate victory in my opinion. Thank you Joao Paulo Faria & Michael Phelps for coaching and Thank Gracie Humaita HQ for allowing me to compete. Time to work on single leg defense!
