Panting after God (2)...psalm41:1 As we shared in the last post about learning from our great patriarchs in the Faith( Hebrews 6:11-12. 11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.), how they were able to make so much impact running after God, what they left and gave up in order to DEVELOPE an INTIMATE WALK with the Lord was not just their sins and sinfulness; several of them left things that were gain and treasures to them and counted them as mere rubbish in order to win Christ. If the Lord is evergoing to be your possession as well, you must come to Him with two empty hands, hands emptied of all other things and a heart emptied of every other affection. He must become the treasure for which you must be willing to lose all things, if necessary. Philippians 3:7-11 7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ....... Folks its time to win Christ more than anything in this life. He gave all for us and we should give all to recieve Him. Watch out for the Episode of PANTING AFTER GOD ! SHALOM !!!
