Papa says: When I was planning Baileys first grooming session, a few things came to mind, key of which was - does the groomer know how to groom a Golden Retriever breed? I have seen and heard many bad cases of badly groomed Goldies. Yes, all groomers should at least know basic grooming but I was looking for one that understood what the breed should look like. Secondly, I was looking for a good experience for Bailey. During a typical grooming session you have two scenarios: to leave your dog at the groomers where he or she has to wait for his turn, sometimes for hours, or wait for hours to be picked up after grooming. So the idea of home grooming was seeded in my mind. I have to say that after Baileys first session, Id say that home grooming is the way to go.
