Papa says: When I was planning Baileys first grooming session, a few things came to mind, key of which was - does the groomer know how to groom a Golden Retriever breed? I have seen and heard many bad cases of badly groomed Goldies. Yes, all groomers should at least know basic grooming but I was looking for one that understood what the breed should look like. Secondly, I was looking for a good experience for Bailey. During a typical grooming session you have two scenarios: to leave your dog at the groomers where he or she has to wait for his turn, sometimes for hours, or wait for hours to be picked up after grooming. As I was researching on groomers, I came across home groomer, Ian Wong of Awesome Pawsome. From reading through some of the experiences and reviews of Goldens grooming, all seemed good. So the idea of home grooming was seeded in my mind. I have to say that after Baileys first session, Id say that home grooming is the way to go. Heres why: 1)Personal one-to-one time and focus on your dog 2)Convenience: you dont need to go to and fro from the groomers 3)worries of diseases from other dogs in grooming shop 4)More comfortable, less stressful and an overall better experience for your dog. I highly recommend Awesome Pawsomes services for a mobile home grooming experience and I am sure you will agree that a slightly higher price offsets sending your best friend to a grooming session that adds stress to you, your schedule and your dog.
