Papertrail Coffee strained, tattered and torn lies the sad lifeless piece of paper, No longer part of the family pack pad, no longer in its virginal blank canvass state, Illegible messy scribbles upon it with crossings out, spelling mistakes and poor grammar, Unable to hold a new shopping list, an epic tale, a meaningful note to a loved one, Permanently tainted and no way back to the beautiful innocent tree it once was, Will it make its way to the sanctionary of the recycling bank or does its fate lie in the black abyss of a bin sack, Will it be lucky enough to be reborn as a best seller or end its days as ASDAs smart price toilet roll, Who knows if the sad piece of paper will ever feel the lavish, richness of poetic words upon its being. If it does, it gives hope to all us lonely people out there wanting, needing and praying for a new story with a different ending.
