Papua New Guinea joins the worlds top 20 Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) gas producing and exporting countries with its first shipment of LNG gas via special LNG ships like Spirit of Hela commencing today the Wednesday, 14th May 2014. This becomes an historical event. Thanks to ExxonMobil Development Corporation of the United States which is Operator of the US$19 billion (K41 billion) PNG LNG Project in the Hela Province of Papua New Guinea. Well done ExxonMobil and Government of Papua New Guinea!
