Paradise Radio 106 WEATHER ADVISORY: FOR: Low Pressure Area ISSUED AT: 1PM At 10:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 270 km east northeast of Baler, Aurora (16.2˚N, 124.2˚E). It will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms in Ilocos region, Cordillera, Cagayan valley and central Luzon. Residents in these areas and local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Councils concerned are advised to take all the necessary precautionary measures against possible flashfloods and landslides. Meanwhile, the rest of the Luzon including Metro Manila will experience light to moderate rains and thunderstorms. The tropical storm (NEOGURI) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility was estimated based on all available data at 1630 km east of Visayas. It has maximum sustained winds of 65 kph and gustiness up to 80 kph. It is forecast to move northwest at 20 kph.
