Parang(machete) made by the penan native... Given to my baby sis as a wedding gift... Note that the blade has a very high grind on one side and a very minimal grind on the other.... The high grind side is determined by the wielders dominant hand... This is made for right handed person. Note that it has pointy tip too. This is the common characteristic of a penan people parang blade. Just like most of sarawak native parang the tang is rat tail with wooden hilt(in olden days bone).
