Pardon me, but I am getting very aggravated with all this anti-police crap I am hearing and seeing. Now, that being said. I am a social studies teacher. I am fully aware of history and the struggles of a variety of people and also disgusted by the fact that equality is not truley equal. I support the 1st amendment which allows the opportunity to assemble, protest, and speak your mind along with religion and press. How ever all the things Im hearing about every cop is a pig, a racist, an arrogant bastard has to stop. Should every person who is a cop be a cop. No. Are there people who are power hungry jackasses. Yes but to assume every cop is this way is ignorance. Not every African American fits into the stereotype of a drug dealer or murder. Not every Latino is stereotypical border hopper and traces their roots to Mexico or Puerto Rico. Not every white person is going to lose their mind and shoot up a school or movie theater. To put a certain group of people into one category is an unintelligent decision. These people that you are hating, not all of them are the horrible monsters you think they are. They put their lives on the line daily. These men and women are brave and courageous. Not everyone can do what they do. It takes a strong person to go to work everyday knowing they may not be coming home again. You loved these cops when they have helped and saved lives. You loved them on 9/11 and the anniversary of the tragic event. Dont allow a few bad apples to ruin your view on the heroes that serve your cities. Thank you to my dad and my tio and Travis Tennant to being those stand up men who do the right thing even after the world is crapping on their jobs, which are quite difficult already.
