Parent group at my kids school done. Workout done. Playing My Little Ponies with McKenzie done. Now its time for personal development. Right now Im reading Made to Crave by Lysa Terkeurst. The introduction chapter to this book talks about how she struggles with not wanting to eat healthy or workout but that she craves all the stuff she shouldnt have. Isnt this the struggle we all have? I especially struggle with this and almost feel entitled to food. Its such an unhealthy relationship. She said something that stuck out to me though: Getting healthy isnt just about losing weight. It is not limited to adjusting our diet and hoping for good physical results. Its about recalibrating our souls so that we want to change -- spiritually, physically, and mentally. And the battle really is in all three areas. Isnt that the truth though? If Im down in one area, the other areas suffer too. Thoughts? Reactions? I definitely recommend this book! Its great so far!
