Parenting By Design BIBLE STUDY FOR KIDS Timothy was raised in a godly home by a mother and grandmother who taught him the Scriptures. He was surrounded by the Word from infancy in preparation for the time when Paul would lead him to salvation through Christ. This early immersion in the Word of God prepared him for the message of Jesus. Its never too early for your kids to start learning the Bible. There are excellent storybooks with pictures for the very young and more sophisticated versions for older kids. Eventually they can graduate to owning a Bible of their own. In fact the early years are some of the most productive, because your children will be excited to learn from you. Make an effort to lovingly introduce Scripture when your kids are young. This time doesnt last forever, and it is a lot harder to do when they get into the teenage years. It is never too early to start a Bible study with your kids. 2 Timothy 3:14-15 AMP But as for you, continue to hold to the things that you have learned and of which you are convinced, knowing from whom you learned [them], And how from your childhood you have had a knowledge of and been acquainted with the sacred Writings, which are able to instruct you and give you the understanding for salvation which comes through faith in Christ Jesus [through the leaning of the entire human personality on God in Christ Jesus in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness].
