Parenting, leadership, & learning are ongoing processes which never end regardless of age, education, intelligence & wisdom. This has been purposely overlooked, diminished, disrespected, or forgotten. LISTEN & LEARN willingly & objectively to older experienced generations. Incorporate the older & newer proven & effective methods. TEACH examples to these kids. Dont just send them off with figure it out & honestly expect them to reason things out well within their most important 6yrs of their life when theyre supposed to be learning fundamentals to build strong moral compasses & foundations! PRACTICE what works that also promotes balance in all things, positive energy, sense of self alongside sense of others, trust, when not to trust, overall respect shown to others as humans, respect towards animals & nature, general health, proper nutrition, proper daylight exposure, proper exercise, cleanliness, neatness, general organization, how & when to play, how & when to work, how to demonstrate affection, good personal hygiene, creativity, self-restraint, obedience to parents, understanding importance of rules & laws, respect for boundaries, good work ethics regardless of payment, encouragement, growth, exploration, empathy, care of property, sympathy, compassion, good listening skills, proper communication skills, proper social skills, repentance, restitution, truthfulness, put forth best efforts, contentment with best efforts, cause & effect, good feelings associated with positive behaviors, how to deal with negativity & stress, learned consequences from negative choices & behaviors, acceptance of limitations, know when to push limits, etc etc. So much of this has been overlooked or forgotten.
