Parents, Taking extra precaution and requiring that all daycare children be tested for influenza including my family I feel was a great plan, because no one knew if their child had this or not. Our last count from all 10 children being tested, 5 children were positive for influenza A in our home daycare, mostly am I glad that me and my family for the most part tested negative for influenza a/b, and able to keep our doors open.FYI- Influenza is a AIRBORNE virus, that can be caught anywhere- daycare, grocery store, relatives home, ANYWHERE. Based on our results it didnt start here, but being that one child had it, it spread to another, and another. All toy shelves, toys indoors and out, are sanitized and ready to be played with.
