Parents.... You ever have those days where you feel like youre a complete failure as a mother? You wish you can turn back time and undo the past so that your children will be happy with life today? God knows Ive worked on my past sheeet so my children will have a better life in the future. Indian Residential School sure did a damn good job in creating perpetrators and survivors. Some are thankful for an education and a warm place to sleep but others? Yeah, blame the past and continue to be the victim. Not me, I refuse to remain the victim. I am going to continue with the healing and make my children stronger. Yeah, pain is there but its not going rule or control our lives, we have the ultimate power to heal and make change. This I promise you my child I will make it better with time and prayer. I will not fail you this time round, it may not be perfect but it will be a lot better.
