Parents: Your experiences, positive and negative are tools we can use to affect positive and negative behavior. Lead not to your understanding, but with prayer and supplication, guide, direct, show, steer, lead, channel, teach, educate, tutor, school, edify, coach, train, instruct, drill, initiate, inculcate, instill, indoctrinate, say over and over, repeat, pound, hammer, beat, instruct, mentor, advise, and counsel. Consider our youth as a painter’s blank canvas. We are the painters. What will be revealed in the hearts, the canvas of our children, are not only the elements of our paint, but of equal significance are the tools we employ to paint the canvas. Some slower than others, some may regress. But, we must be diligent to create not only followers of our philosophies, but mentors who will disciple others. Much Love!! The Music Man
