Parents and teachers are the most important role models for behavior amongst children. Teaching by example is one of the most effective ways to establish good behaviors amongst children. If you as a parent dont eat breakfast, then it is difficult for the child to understand the importance. Lead by example! If you are unable to sit and eat with your child, or rely on them to feed themselves breakfast, we strongly suggest you check out the Enhanced LPS School Breakfast Program. In this program, we are going to integrate breakfast into the first period of the day. The teachers will administer breakfast to the children, and they will eat in the classroom. This way the teacher can help establish good breakfast eating habits in a positive and happy tone!
