Parents.... has your child ever said anything so strangely beyond their years that it scares you? I dont mean... aww thats cute and wise for his age... I mean where did you hear that and how do you even know that?!?!? So Lucas and I are driving down 83 to Hunt Valley and we are talking about the tragedy at River Valley Ranch and I am trying to put it into terms he will understand... Sometimes bad things happen and all we can do is pray that the Lord is with the families of the child that dies and the 8 others injured. But why would God allow a kid to die in a storm? (uggg) Son I dont know, but I do know that our lifetimes are a blink of an eye in heaven and that we have to believe that the family will be reunited again someday ok... I guess thats why we pray to God that he is with the families. Not so that God will do what we want in heaven, but so that we will do what he wants while on earth. I almost wrecked the car... HE IS SEVEN!!! what 7 yr old (or 70 yr old for that matter) would even THINK to say something like that... I had to adjust the rear view mirror to see him.... Lucas, where did you hear that? I dunno... I guess I just know it (goes back to playing his 3DS) Has this kid been here before or something!??!? That went way past cute and is out in scary territory...
