Parents with kiddos- would you let your kids play in something like this? We grew up in the 80s in the country- Our playground was a pile of sawdust and a stack of old wooden pallets. My brother and I would beat each other with metal poles from an old tent (pretending they were swords). As soon as I was big enough to carry trash to the burn pit (we burned trash back then), I was burning trash. I will say, being the younger by 4yrs, I was always the loser in fights, and had multiple broken bones by the time I started elementary school, but obviously, nothing was permanently damaged. Nothing in here is stuff I didnt do as a child, and yet, I dont know if I would be comfortable with kids playing in a playground like this. Are we too overly cautious of our children now days? Does the lack of risk taking cause adverse effects to the children as they grow up?
