Officials named the men as Said Kouachi and Cherif Kouachi, both French and in their early 30s, and 18-year-old Hamyd Mourad, whose nationality wasnt immediately clear. Eyewitness videos show two masked gunmen fatally shooting a police officer, while another showed an attacker shouting Allahu Akbar — or God is great.” President Barack Obama called the assault a cowardly and evil attack that underscores terrorists fear of free speech.
