Paris! This is why we chose the Paris theme for the wedding: Many of my family met me in London England after doing a conference for Presiding Elder M. G. Tydus in Birmingham England. Monique came with my sons, daughter in laws and my closest inner circle. I told them that I was going to propose to Monique when we took the “Chunnel” from England to France. All of us went to Paris and met at the Eiffel Tower. All of them acted as if they didn’t have the money to go to the top of the tower, so myself and Monique went alone. When we went to the top, after enduring a long guided tour, we broke away. It was on the top of the Eiffel Tower that I got on one knee and proposed. A couple who asked me to take a picture of them, took a picture of us without knowing I was about to propose. Monique started crying and said “YES”. Many people thought the theme was about where we were going but it was about where we had been. Thank you for saying yes on the top of the Eiffel Tower – thus the Paris Theme.
