Police responded to the Park Forest Police Department on October 25 to investigate an animal complaint. A brown and white 70 pound male English bulldog named Bruno was set on fire by someone using some sort of accelerant, according to police. Police say a veterinarian at Forest South Animal Hospital told them that the dog had some kind of accelerant thrown onto his face, neck, and ears, and then had been lit on fire. The dog experience first-degree burns to those locations, as well as other injuries resulting from being set on fire alive.
