Parking lot drama. Lady (in her van) just got hit by a car backing out. I saw the entire ordeal and figured it was going to work itself out, until the young girl claimed the older woman was in her blind spot. WTH The old lady was waiting for people to walk across the road and honked at the young girl as she attempted to back out. I figured the young girl looked in her rearview or side mirror and saw the old lady, but nope, she paused for a couple secs, then proceeded to back out. I honked hoping the girl would have stopped, but nope, she hit the van. The old lady was furious, which I wouldve been too, but when I heard the girl try to tell the old lady, she wasnt fully responsible, I thought nope. I stepped in and said heres my contact info & I saw everything. Lesson for the day, use your mirrors, dont assume that you are in the clear. Also, take responsibility for your stupidity!
