Part 2 - Waiting (for an answer) ...and how He will answer my complaint. Habakkuk 2:1b In society today waiting is becoming less and less popular. We live in an age where we can get things very quickly:- 1. Food - microwaveable 2. Tickets available in seconds 3. Access bank account details in seconds on a mobile device 4. A company formed in just 2 hours online Because we CAN get things quickly we are no longer WILLING to wait - we want it now! Habakkuk set himself up so that he could hear what the Lord would say to him. How He would answer his complaint. He was willing to do what it would take to hear from God. Spend quiet time with the Lord - not praying, just sitting in His presence. There are times when the Lord just wants us to be still before Him; to be in quietness. In a busy world we want everything now but God is calling us to know Him more intimately and THEN we can begin to hear from Him clearly - then He can answer us knowing that we can hear Him clearly and accurately. Be patient...wait for the answer. Let us not be anxious but be assured that God knows and He will answer when we are still before Him because when the answer comes its time to move and work.
