Part 39 of Asuryu - A Torn Past (A desperate plan and The Final Word) As Heiyoryu decended from the sky towards Asuryu and Silsia, QVuire devised a plan to attack Heiyoryu while he was distracted. Listen we can take this guy out just like all the rest of them if he isnt prepared for what is coming. Maliena you sweep around his right side and hit him with everything youve got. Kusanagi you come at him from behind and syncronize your attack with Maleina and I will follow up with a finishing blow. If all goes according to plan we should get the drop on him and save Asuryu and Souji. Sound good? QVuire said as he watched Heiyoryus movements. Are you certain this will work? I mean he has taken down Souji and Asuryu without really batting an eye. Kusanagi stated. Regardless of that, the two of them need our assistance and Im not backing down! Maleina said as she took off to get into position. Shes awefully anxious about this isnt she? QVuire said as he watched on. Kusanagi looked at the two of them and sighed, Real life soap operas... As Kusanagi ran to get to position Saito stopped her and said, Take this. Kusanagi extended her hand as Saito handed her a smoke bomb. Oh I get it, thanks Saito. Kusanagi said as she took off. I feel so helpless here. Saito said as she slumped to the ground behind the city wall. Heiyoryu descended onto the downed Silsia in her dragon form. Now then to finish you off and deal with my foolish son. Heiyoryu said as he touched the ground. As Heiyoryu made his way to Silsia who remained unconcious, a small ball rolled up to his feet. Parlor tricks... Heiyoryu said to himself as the ball began to bellow a large amount of smoke. QVuire, Maleina, and Kusanagi crept through the smoke silently as Heiyoryu remained still. Heiyoryu raised his left hand into the sky and fired a blast into the air. As Kusanagi and Maleina lunged forward into their attack, Heiyoryu lowered his hand causing the blast to strike both of them knocking them unconsious on the spot. What tha?! QVuire said as he halted his attack. Heiryoryu then turned towards QVuire and blew away the smoke to expose the surprise attack. Heiyoryu blasted QVuire directly in his chest knocking him off his feet and onto the ground. Youre not beaten yet I know Imperial dog. On your feet and Ill finish you like your other friends. Heiyoryu said as he readied another blast. QVuire stood to his feet slowly as Heiyoryu fired another blast knocking him out cold. THATS ENOUGH! Asuryu yelled as he moved from around Silsias wing. Oh ho you arent dead? Thats good. I can rip you in two now with your friends power. Are you ready to die Asuryu? Heiyoryu laughed. I dont plan to die here Heiyoryu... DO YOU HEAR ME?! I WONT BE DYING HERE TODAY! Asuryu yelled as his energy began to overflow out of him. Ah yes... The power that made you a hero and at the same time a villian all at once. Lets see if you are capable of using the power you got from me to your advantage. Heiyoryu said. The city of Accroshia looked on as Heiyoryu had put away all its defenders: Souji, QVuire, Maleina, Kusanagi, Saito, Alavanthaar, Hollace and Silsia all down and out until there was only one remaining to face the villain head on. The injured Saito looked on from a distance to see Asuryu releasing the limits of his power that he had used once before to fight Shazai in the fight over the power of Solaria. Oh Asuryu... Dont let the power take over. We all lose if you lose control. Saito said. Asuryu disappeared and reappeared in front of Heiyoryu delievering a powerful overhead strike, however the attack was deflected by the barrier Heiyoryu has used in his defense. Asuryu you know that you cant break my shield with such petty attacks. Heiyoryu said as he waved his hand pushing Asuryu away. Asuryu remained unresponsive as he rushed back at Heiyoryu, delievering numerous punches directly into Heiyoryus barrier with no effect. Ah yes, you arent consious when this power activates. You couldnt understand me if you wanted to. Heiyoryu said as he appeared behind Asuryu. Asuryu quickly delivered a spinning back kick colliding with Heiyoryus shield. Heiyoryu reached through his barrier, grabbing Asuryu by the throat and laughed saying, That one almost got me. Heiyoryu then flung Asuryu into the sky and began hurling darkness blasts at him. Asuryu unaffected by Heiyoryus taunts and actions twisted and turned in the air avoiding the blasts on his way back towards the ground. As he landed safely, Heiyoryu readied another attack and said, Im clearly not impressed. Asuryu appeared behind him and whispered, Im clearly not here to impress you. Shocked that Asuryu could move so fast Heiyoryu teleported away from Asuryu only to have him appear behind him again. Im here to destroy you. Asuryu whispered in his ear. Heiyoryu turned and was quickly met by a strong strike to his jaw by Asuryus right hand. Impossible! Heiyoryu said as his barrier crumbled from the might of Asuryus fist sending him flying. He shouldnt be able to do this with the power he has in his possession. The power he held against Shazai was nowhere near this strong! Heiyoryu said to himself as he struggled to regain his focus. Heiyoryu then crashed into debris from the tattered city wall of Accroshia. Not to be down long Heiyoryu sprung to his feet and wiped the blood from his mouth. How is it that you have this much strength? Heiyoryu yelled across the battlefield. Asuryu remained silent, but quickly rushed to Heiyoryu in an instant clashing with his now shaky barrier. The two drug one another across the field as Heiyoryu continued, I know that your power was not this great when you faced Shazai! So how is it now!? Answer me boy! Asuryu remained quiet as he continued attacking Heiyoryu with relentless punches and kicks forcing him to stay on the defensive. I know you are tuning me out boy! Answer me or I will... Heiyoryu started but was quickly silenced by a punch to his throat by Asuryu. You talk to damn much. Asuryu said as he followed up with a kick to his stomach and a elbow to his face driving him into ground shattering the earth. GAAAHHH!!! Heiyoryu yelled as his face met with the solid ground. I knew youd get cocky when I started to use this power again. The last time I used it on you I was in a blind rage, you couldnt gauge just how much power I truly had. I cant blame you for being scared now that you are on the losing end of this fight after all the others have gone so well for you. Asuryu said as he stood at the edge of the crater Heiyoryu was lying. So what you are saying is you have control over the darkness within you? MY darkness? Heiyoryu said as he stood to his feet while his body emitted black flames. Asuryu stood fast as Heiyoryu continued as he walked up the crater side, You havent the resolve or the abandon to go the lengths I did to control that power! I CREATED IT! THAT POWER YOU HAVE IS ME! AND YOU SIT HERE NOW AND SAY WITH A STRAIGHT FACE THAT YOU NOW HAVE COMPLETE CONTROL!? I dont need the abandon, your resolve, or desperation to wield this power you gave me from birth. All I needed was a purpose to use it. Asuryu said as he closed his eyes to Heiyoryu. Is that right? So I guess youre going to tell me some tired heroic line about how your purpose is to save your friends and defend your homeland?! Pathetic!!! Heiyoryu yelled as he struck Asuryu in the stomach. Asuryu slumped over and delivered the same punch to Heiyoryu but with greater force. GAHHH!!! Heiyoryu gasped as he leaned forward. Asuryu pushed him off his fist and back into the crater and said, No its nothing like that. I am not fighting you for my friends or family. I am simply fighting you for the fact that I want to obliterate you. Hatred?! You mean to tell me you are drawing the true depths of your power from your underlying hatred for me? Heiyoryu said as he stood up slowly. Correct. Asuryu stated as he looked down on Heiyoryu. Heiyoryu enraged by these comments disappeared and reappeared striking Asuryu directly in the face knocking him to the ground and yelled, Bullshit! Heiyoryu opened both his hands and continued, Now you listen here boy! You are not my equal in anyway! Even with one hundred years of training you could not hold a candle to me do you understand!? You can not be stronger than the source you tapped the power from! THAT IS A FACT! GOOD BYE ASURYU GIVE YOUR MOTHER A KISS FOR ME IN HELL!!! As Heiyoryu finished his statement, several kunai struck him in the hip throwing his focus off. Heiyoryu looked into distance to see Saito doubled over in pain. Capturing the moment Asuryu arose from the ground striking Heiyoryu with his absolute counter hitting him with everything he had. WHAT!? NO!!! Heiyoryu screamed as Asuryu followed up behind the attack. Asuryu continued striking Heiyoryu repeatedly cracking numerous bones every strike as he yelled, My mother wouldnt waste a kiss for you from her grave! Heiyoryus eyes rolled into the back of his head as he fell backwards back into the crater. How... How are you able to continue when you are clearly out matched? Why cant I... Finish you off? With all the power... I possess? Heiyoryu said as he raised his right hand as his body began wither and turn to dust in the wind. Stealing an opponents power is one thing. Knowing its limits is another. Asuryu said as he turned towards Accroshia and began walking.
