Part 8 of Countdown to Halloween: My All-Time Favorite Spooky Flicks 36--The Cabin in the Woods (2012) Joss Whedon fun! Its got scares and weirdness, as youd expect, but anything this thrilling and unique is very enjoyable. 37-- The Knife in the Water Nóz w wodzie (1962) Polish w/ subs A couple invite a young hitchhiker along with them on their sailboat. What could possibly go wrong? 38-- Suspiria (1977) Italian The creepiest movie. The cinematography is awesome. Scary ballerinas. *snort* 39-- Ring Ringu (1998) Japanese w/ subs I liked the U.S.s The Ring just fine, but Im a big fan of asian horror films and the originals are always somehow scarier and creepier to me. (The original Grudge movies, Dark Water, The Eye films, etc.) 40-- A Tale of Two Sisters Janghwa, Hongryeon (2003) Korean w/ subs Good ol family horror. (Korean horror films are the best kind, Im tellin ya.)
