Part of life’s rich tapestry is the infinite number of odd people in it… Never ceases to intrigue or amaze me how strange and weird some folk can be. Must be an age thing as I rarely get wound up over their behaviour these days but feel amused. Early morning walk before braving my work with les woofs in this gorgeous park. Found a great spot with beautiful old trees and wonderful big tree trunks cut and placed in a massive circle all round. The space has a magical and very mellow feeling to it. Sat there watching the wolverines run around full of life and mischief, relaxing and smiling contently. Some dude walks up in big hectic strides and plonks himself down just a couple of tree trunks along (there are at least 50 trunks all round, all empty), puts his laptop on, typing away furiously and then answers the phone, speaking loudly, punctuating the air with agitated arm waving. I watch him bemused. One thing about Greyhounds, they have a sixth sense about pompous people and love to wind them up. So they decided to play a noisy game of attacking invisible critters while barking loudly and happily near us. Ironically, Greyhounds are typically super quiet and do not bark at the door, usually they are far too busy snoozing on the sofa. Then the man angrily yelled “Shut up, be quiet, I am having an important business conference call” I smiled sweetly and replied that I somehow missed the sign that this was a big corporate boardroom. Then a sly grin moved across my face when I remember a very very very squeaky toy in my bag. I am so proud, my chest nearly bursts with pride as the girls gave their all, squeaking and barking to their hearts content. Our choleric entrepreneur eventually got up and walked off in a huff. I let out a happy cackle while cuddling my familiars…
