Part of me is sorry that I am posting this...because I know that most of you want to keep fb as your happy place just as much as I do. In our daily life full of crazy chaotic kids and jobs and responsibilities, fb is a great place to jump into the many pages of family milestones, personal succes stories, pictures that make you laugh so hard it hurts...a place where we can lie in bed each evening, and with the simple scroll of a finger... live vicariously through others when our own day seemed monotonous and boring. I hate to be the one to put a damper on all of that....but after reading this I realized...stories such as this one are REAL. And sometimes a good dose of reality is what it takes to wake us up and make us realize how desensitized we have become. I read this and I am now AWAKE...and feeling horrible for how rushed and rude I was to my own babies this morning when pushing them out the door for school. Now I am awake and ready to pour myself into my Bible and my time with God...because that is TRULY the ONLY happy place that exists today!!!
