Participation in TSA Pre✓® download / print Who can participate in TSA Precheck DHS Trusted Travelers TSA Pre✓® application program members, participants in a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Trusted Traveler program* (Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI) and other individuals who have been provided a Known Traveler Number (KTN) are eligible to participate in TSA Pre✓®. If you already have a Known Traveler Number, you do not need to apply for a DHS Trusted Traveler program. Not sure which DHS Trusted Traveler program is right for you? View a comparison chart of the four DHS Trusted Traveler programs. TSA Pre✓® Application Program Complete an online application. Schedule an appointment at a TSA Pre✓® application center. (More than 280 centers nationwide.) Visit the TSA Pre✓® application center, pay the $85 fee, provide valid government identification and fingerprints. A Known Traveler Number will be sent to you via U.S. mail or can be obtained online. Once successfully enrolled, provide your Known Traveler Number in the ’Known Traveler Number’ field when making airline reservations. Additionally, members should update their frequent flyer profiles AND contact their airline regarding any previous reservations.
