And while I do agree that a genuine parent will still love their children, regardless of the course they take - that does not mean a parent should endorse or explain away their abhorrent choices. There is nothing brave about this - indeed it is quite the opposite - it takes guts to address this and so many other issues that parents face with children - from the morally and biblically-correct viewpoint.
