Party blew up Mitsukunis shrine, rendering him and his family homeless and jobless. Ash escaped from technocracy confines, randomly teleporting in the path of a stolen spear. He teleported again into an expressway. Ivy, Mitsukuni, and Sonna escaped into Ikebukuro with Yuichi, who abandoned them. Sonna left to go home, where his parents--worried about his coming home after midnight with gunshot wounds AGAIN threatened to ground him. Ivy observed that Tani was trapped in a trial, and had Mitsukuni help carry him to a club she worked at. There, she noticed a photograph of the house in her dreams, and learned that it was what was on the site of the bar before the bar was built. They were approached by a fat balding middle aged man known as ecstasy and were led to the caverns beneath the bar--the Mannequin Kings lair. There, Ivy was named Thunder Lord, and Mitsukuni Judge. The Mannequin King demanded they cease trying to kill him, and return the spear otegine they stole. They had not stolen otegine. As they discussed the spear, Ivy realized that they were speaking not to some random demon of greed, but to THE demon of greed, the fallen angel Mammon who was a part of western legends and unknown since before the time of christ. It turns out he had been bound to serve as a guardian to Otegine, one of three magic spears that, combined, would give the wielder power over space and spirit, able to connect any two points within all the planes between the great barriers (whatever those are?). He warned them that the Yellow King--legendary first emperor of china--was trying to steal the spears which were held in Tokyo. Why is this bad? Why, because then the damned Chinese would control the whole economy of souls! He then sent them to Sonnas apartment. Ash found his way back to tokyo with a stolen spear--otegine itself, and rushed to show Lola what he had found...only to find Lola dead from a series of gunshot wounds. In a panic, he rushed to the shrine. he found it aflame and in ruins--apparently the victim of a gas main rupture. All within presumed dead. Panicked, Ash hurried to Sonnas, where he found Ivy unconcious and naked on a balcony muttering some strange prophecy, and Mitsukuni and Sonna arguing about spears. Ash burst in, to find that Yuichi was waiting outside. After a bit of angelic vs electrical fighting over the spear, Yuichi let it go and Ash fled into the night. As we stand moving (finally) into the cold Febuary tuesday morning, Mitsukunis Shrine is destroyed, Otegine is in Ashs posession, Lola--Ashs adoptive mother and sole role-model--is dead, Tani is in a coma at a bar in Ikebukuro, Sonna is trying to stay awake through a school day, an old threat--The Mannequin King--seems far less threatening, and a new threat has appeared--a man of myth and legend who supposidly died 10,000 years ago. And as Sonna enters his school, a man dressed in a black suit watches from afar. 3XP to all.
