Successfully, he used the funds to construct the Philippine Heart Center, Lung, Center, Kidney Center, Cultural Center and etc...which hugely benefited the ordinary people of the country...We were then the richest in the Far East...in 1974 if I remember it right the exchange rate was about ten (10) pesos to a dollar...
