Passion is the adopted child of patience and perseverance. A fruit - TopicsExpress

Passion is the adopted child of patience and perseverance. A fruit of labour and love. It can conquer fear, anxiety and hate. It can give purpose to lives, burst bubbles and rebuild minds. There arent any shortcuts to it. Only superfluous moments of ecstasy. TED Talks. Self-improvement books. Best friends with messiah complexes. These are excuses to celebrate the accumulation of half-baked knowledge. At best, they are quotable references and fun facts. Anecdotal tidbits that may impress people at dinner parties. True passion depends on how much time and energy we are willing to invest. The amount of confidence we have in ourselves to sustain momentum; the sort of courage that brings us back on our feet when we start doubting ourselves. Want to be really good at something? Put in the time. Care to feel alive and liberated through it? Practice as much as possible. Interested in taking over the world? Invest in a Persian cat and master the Chinese language.
