Pastor, I dont like your theology Someone said pastor I dont like your theology, and I said I bet youre right, me either I dont like it, and yours too I dont like it. I dont like what my own pastor teaches too, worse anyone who isnt my pastor. To provoke him more I said, I dont even like Jesuss theology. The only problem is Ive no choice. I struggle with much he had to say e.g. ....love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again... Luke 6:35 is it something youd prefer doing? If I could choose I wouldnt do it but there is a force compelling or constraining us to do the things we hate doing, yet still do them. Weve to put up with some of people, things and whatever is in our lives not because of choice. A commandment comes with it, and the love of Christ, best described by Paul as loves sake constrains us to do the things that we do. James 1:21 says, Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. Some technology isnt doing us good because the people of God are developing a selective hearing syndrome, a tendency they click to like and favour only what they prefer to hear but you Timothy receive with all meekness the engrafted word preferring not one from the other.
