Pastor Tim here. We celebrate the New Year, every year, with a Watch Night Service here at Northridge FWB. Last night was no exception. Our youth pastor, Josh Branscomb, was our singer and I never heard him sing any better! What a blessing this man is to our church! He can do just about anything. He was also our sound man too! Thank you brother! Chuck Johnston preached a very inspiring message from Proverbs chapter 3 about wisdom and knowledge, faith without works is dead and much more! About making spiritual resolutions, above physical resolutions. Chuck was ready to preach and went off like a loaded shotgun! Thank you brother for a great message to end 2014 and to start 2015. We had several visitors and they loved the spirit of our service. Dalas Thompson, Alvy Slone and Alan Thompson all gave inspirational testimonies as did many others! Alan even led the congregational singing. Then there was the special blessing of praying around the altar at the midnight hour! Then afterwards, we all gathered in the Youth Center for pizza and fellowship. Josh and Ryan Rose supervised many of our young people as they stayed until the wee hours of the morning.
