Pastors Moment: If Jesus was to be born today, I bet we would make the same mistake they did 2000 years ago, reject Him. He would be too ordinary to be taken seriously. Who cares about a carpenter anyway? He would not have a big church. He did not have one. He would not identify himself with big titles. The religious people & systems would fight Him while the sinners & lowly will be drawn to Him. He would not feature in our magazines. He would fall far short of the world idea of a hero or saviour. Yeah, he wont be liked by many… But it would be impossible to ignore Him. Because the dead would rise again, the blind see, deaf hear and changed lives would be so evident. Like salt, Jesus left an impact wherever He went. Friends, we don’t need big titles to change the world, we don’t need immense wealth to touch souls, we don’t need to be famous to inspire. We just need to have a soul, and a constant reminder of what Jesus did to and for us. Let our work places, streets, homes, friends, families be our pulpits.
