Pastors Moment: No one living on this planet, whether they are - TopicsExpress

Pastors Moment: No one living on this planet, whether they are from a well up background or whether from a humble one, can deny the fact that life has its ups and downs. By nature people rise and become giants, while sometimes giants fall and go back to where they started. Nobody is immune to failure and lifetime stability is just a myth. Its so normal that sometimes you fall down even if you were very successful. Also its common that you forget how happiness felt like after months of sadness and how victory felt like after months of defeat. There comes a time when you fall so badly that you even lack the energy to stand and start all over again. These are the times that even your closest friends are not there to give you a hand of support. You feel so hopeless like a broken pot that will never cook again. That is the moment the Lord pays a visit to lift up His son/daughter for He knows there is no one else you could turn to. Trusting in Him is the only solution whether in good times or in bad times. The issue of where God can make you rise from is best captured in the book of Ezekiel 37:4 -6. Then he said to me, Prophesy to these bones and say to them, Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD If he can make Dry Bones have flesh and become joints again, my Friend yours is a small thing, just listen to him. Joel 2:25 -2 best captures the outright Promise, God assures you that no matter how low you have sank; you will rise again. “I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you. “You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And my people shall never again be put to shame. VIA Christine God Bless You and Keep You
