Pastors Pen 10-26-14 John 14:2 In my Fathers house are many mansions: if were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. There are many different thoughts on what a person might call home. Some will reminisce of the place their birth, or of the town of their youth. One might consider home to be the house in which they currently reside. Others may refer to whatever place they hang their hat. To the Christian, however, we must remember that we are actually just travelers in a foreign land. As the songwriter once said, This world is not my home, Im just a passing through. My treasures are laid up, somewhere beyond the blue. What a blessing to know that our Saviour has prepared a place for the child of God. A place in His presence that will never decay! I am looking forward to the day that our Lord returns to take His children home! What about you? Brother Larry
