Pastor’s Moment: Do you have a plan? Do you know what you - TopicsExpress

Pastor’s Moment: Do you have a plan? Do you know what you want to achieve by the end of the day? What is your master plan? What do you hope to have accomplished by the end of the week? Month? Year? Five years? We all criticize government, even those of us in it find fault and attempt to correct, but at least the Government has short- term goals and the Grand Plan we all know as Vision 2030. The plans in Government are measured through Performance contracts. How do you measure your goals and plans? Most of us are resigned to fate, we wake up to a routine., at the end of the day we go home and prepare for the next day until Friday comes and we have a weekend break as we await for Monday. We no longer have passion, because our ideas were shot down, we have not been promoted for a long time or we are simply at the peak of the career, it is just something we must do to be able to pay bills. God through Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. God has a clear plan and the author of Proverbs in Chapter 16, verse 3, says, “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” Napoleon Hill captured it perfectly when he said, ““First comes thought; then organization of that thought, into ideas and plans; then transformation of those plans into reality. The beginning, as you will observe, is in your imagination.” Dream big, chase the dream but most importantly write it down, take it from me, whatever is not written is phantom imagination. Fantasy, chasing the wind, maybe just that - a grand dream. I challenge you today, to begin changing your dreams into plans with a clear roadmap to achieving them, even if you cannot see the road with your naked eyes, just draw it and begin the journey of your imaginary path. Great plans are imagined, written and pursued. To play easy, they say in sports, practice hard. Take your time and plan to the end of everything you are involved in and you will be surprised at the ease you travel the road. Let me sum it this way, living life without a plan is like being a passing cloud you accumulate merely glide through existence – Make a plan and commit it to God and be assured that you will succeed. One more thing, for every plan that succeeds, there will be those with a silent counter plan to fight it - do not change your plans to fit such devious schemes, stay focused, Victory is assured. God Bless You and Keep You
