This is an innovative program allowing health professionals to volunteer without leaving their Australian clinical practices. Its called D-Day for Ebola and will take place on December 8th. Twice The Doctor Foundation allows doctors to work for a day, and donate their salary to the understanding and treatment of Ebola. Wheres a similar initiative from pharmacists? Surely the powers that be within the profession can be slightly distracted from their usual concerns to become involved in some way?
