Patience is a virtue...thats something that I just dont have when these children look at me with their doe eyes and excuses as to why the work isnt done...pray for my patience...I just dont want to curse at none of these young people...I rarely rant but this must be said to someone our young generation is doomed if we with education (both life education and institutional) dont assist them. These kids have little to no investigative skills and are not willing to find the answer for themselves they want to sit and have someone dump knowledge into their brains with no effort on their part. Showing up to class is only one part of the equation not the answer. Education is the first thing that is cut out of the budget every year and those that do nothing complain when these kids arent learning anything but, getting in trouble. Well, what happens to a young black man with little to no substantial education in a crime invested area specially living in America which foundations are aimed at his incarceration or death? Carter Woodson said, History shows that it does not matter who is in power or what revolutionary forces take over the government, those who have not learned to do for themselves and have to depend solely on others never obtain any more rights or privileges in the end than they had in the beginning. So what does this say we need to teach these kids to learn for themselves and actively seek education dont think because their parents or Sallie Mae cut a check they automatically should just have an education. No it comes with work and TEACH THEM THEIR HISTORY!!! This new generation wont even be able to understand how lost they are without a proper history other than slavery and Egypt please educators help these kids early. Cause by the time they get to me the damage is almost irreversible....That is all...
