Patrice Tardif was called Useless when traded in the Wayne Gretzky trade. Why was he useless? His father had just died from cancer. He was destroyed by the loss of his father. Wendy Tardif is the Executive director of The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing. Someday I hope she can retire on money made from cure, and not treatment. Father Emilien Emilieno Tardif died in 1999. He was known for praying for people to be healed. He stood out because sometimes they were. ON the day he had died from stomach cancer, it is said that a 20 year old woman he was praying for was healed of her own stomach cancer. He commented before he died that the lord sometimes heals the body in this life. He will ask why not everyone is healed when he gets up there. Carla Tardif, Executive director of family outreach in NY, decided to take that path when her personal trainer Kyle Damon, brother of Matt Damon, died from brain cancer. Based in Boston, Ma and Parsippany, NJ Joseph Tardif - He served in the U.S. Army and received a Silver Star Medal, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, French Croix De Guerre and the American Defense Service Medal. He retired from Pratt & Whitney. He lost his life to cancer in 2000.
