Patricia Lally I am home safe and sound :) OMG! my experienced rider FORGOT they are doing road construction right where I wanted to go, ARGHHHHH I was terrified. They are taking a layer of asphalt off the main road that runs right through town RT 140. Where I wanted to turn to go into the Wawa was CLOSED, The next 3 cross overs were CLOSED. We had to go an extra mile before we could turn around. Then the whole way we had to run the raw roadway. I was told, stay in your lane, stay loose, the bike will wiggle let it wiggle under you. OMG ! Talk about being terrified, my 1st night run then this on top of it. So we made it to Wawa, yahoo! took a few minute and a cup of coffee to calm my nerves. Then back on the road. Get 1/4 of the way home and get next to a dump truck, again ARGH! the wind was pushing my bike all over the place. So I et him stay in front of me till we hit the red light. Then I took the lead. The rest was really uneventful other then I stalled it twice. At least I was in the community that I lived in when I did it. I am SOOOOOOooooooo glad that I have my 1st night ride under my belt. At least if I have to in an emergency I know that I can do it if I just take my time. Thank you Adam Laser for the words of encouragement tonight. We will ride again. Now off to bed :)
