Patricia WoodwardPatricia Woodward, of Lapeer, age 59, passed away on December 15, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital in Flint, Michigan, after complications from an open heart surgery in July 2014. Patricia was born on August 12, 1955 in Lapeer, the daughter of Dennis Sr. and Janet (Johnson) Cichoracki. Patty grew up in North Branch and Lapeer areas, and she graduated from Lapeer High School in 1973. On April 14, 1979 she married Roy Woodward at North Branch Wesleyan Church. Patricia worked at Lapeer County Farm Bureau as their secretary with many years of dedicated service. She begun a new career, working for Gass and Becker Insurance Company, before she retired as an agent for NuStar Insurance Company in Flint. Patty was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Imlay City. She enjoyed reading, canning, baking, and cooking for her family. Patty was well known for her homemade pies, that were shared with her family and friends. Patty enjoyed gardening with Grandpa Vic, when she was younger, and later grew vegetables and flowers for her family. Patty’s family and grandchildren were very important in her life. Patty is survived by her husband, Roy of Lapeer; son, Roy Woodward; step-daughter, Nicole(Brian) Granz of Ubly; mother, Janet Cichoracki of Lapeer; sister, Denise (Rick) Schlaud of North Branch; brothers, Dennis Jr. (Leona) Cichoracki of Boyne Falls; and Robin (Liz) Cichoracki of Fostoria; grandchildren; Nick and Brian Granz, and Breanna and Addison Woodward and their mother Heather Woodward; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and her best friend, Karen Redmond and her family. Memorials may be made to the family. She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis; sister, Mary Beth; grandparents, Bob and Caroline Johnson and Vic and Mabel Cichoracki. The family will be present for visitation on Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 10:00am to 3:00 pm at the First Apostolic Church in Imlay City. The Funeral Service will follow at 3:00pm at church. Pastor Joseph Carpenter will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, North Branch. Arrangements by Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. You may share an online condolence blackburnchapel
