Patrick McNamara, Hunter McCann and Cami Croasdale are representing Admiral Farragut next week at the 1A Cross Country Regions meet in Melbourne. Our XC team ran the FHSAA 1A District 10-meet at Taylor Park in Largo this morning. It was a bit warm, especially during the girls race as the sun pushed up the temperatures. In order to proceed to District next week they had to be in the top 15. Not a big deal for Patrick who came in 2nd in a time of 16:12 and no big deal either for Hunter McCann who finished 4th in 16:57 but for Cami this was different cake; she came in as nr. 15 with a time of 22:38. For the other team-mates this was their last XC race in 2014. We sure hope to see most of them back when Track season starts in January.
