Patrol officers responded to a call of a robbery on Western Avenue near Birch Street when 10 and 11 year old boys were knocked from a bicycle by two older juveniles who then stole the bicycle. Minutes after the call, a patrol officer observed a group with the stolen bike near Hemlock St., but the victims did not identify anyone with the bike as the offenders. However, while the officers were on that scene, two juveniles who matched the physical and clothing description of the offenders walked through the area. The victims positively identified those two subjects as the offenders. After investigation, both 16 year old Park Forest juveniles were petitioned to juvenile court for Robbery.
