Patti , April and I were driving around North Carolina back in 2004 when April spotted a Sign in front of a house: TALKING DOGS FOR SALE We Pulled over and went up to the house and rand the doorbell, the owner comes and tells us the dogs are in the backyard. We all went to the backyard where we see these two Rat Terriers sitting at a table eating tacos. I walked up to them first and asked Yo quiero Taco Bell? They just glanced at me and went back to their Tacos April scoffed at my attempt at humor and then slowly and loudly asked D O - Y O U - T A L K ? They didnt even glance this time Patti, approaches them and casually says how yah all dooin? They look at her and finish chewing their food and then say Fine Thank You (side note, Riko sounded just like Antonio Banderas) I was astonished ..... I excitedly asked the obvious; sooo you do talk?! Si, the Riko replies. So, whats your story? April asked Riko and Sanchez look up and Sanchez says, Well, we discovered that we could talk when we were first born. We knew we wanted to help the United States Government, so we made our way over the Mexican border and to the CIA where we advised them of our gift of speach and in days they had us jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders, because no one figured puppies would be eavesdropping. We were their most valuable spies for a few months. But the jetting around really tired Riko out, and I knew deep down, it was not the life I wanted to live, so we simply retired. We all stood there simply amazed. April turned around and went inside to ask the owner how much he wanted for the dogs. Ten dollars, the guy says. Ten Dollars?! April was shocked.... But, These dogs are amazing. Why on earth are you selling him so cheap?! Because they are both damn liars. they never did any of that stuff
