Paul J. Pack, Sr., of Ceresco, NE, died November 17, 2014 in Lincoln. He was born January 2, 1941 in Wheeling, WV to Loye and Zeta (Hurley) Pack. Paul was the President of Nebraska Wildlife Crimestoppers, Ducks Unlimited Chapter Chairman, honorary member of the Ceresco American Legion and a founding member of Cornhusker National Jr/Sr High School Shoot. He was a graduate of Ponca High School and Wayne State College. Former manager of Ernie’s in Ceresco and Teacher at Ceresco High School. Paul was a gun collector, hunter, fisher and wildlife enthusiast. Survived by daughter, Korby Gilbertson; son Paul J., Jr. (Julie) Pack; grandchildren, Hunter Gilbertson, Kaelyn Pack and Connor Pack; special friend, Donna Johnson; sister, JoAnn Hoeck; brothers, Gerry Pack and Don (Sharon) Pack; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father Loye Pack, mother Zeta and uncle Robert Hurley. Visitation: 2-8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2014, at Metcalf Funeral Home, 245 N. 27th St., Lincoln, NE 68503. Graveside Service: 11:30 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2014 at South Creek Cemetery, Ponca, NE. Celebration of Life Friday, November 21 at Davey Hall, Davey, NE 5:30-8:30 p.m. Memorials to American Legion Nebraska Post 244, P.O.
