Paul Magu, a Kenyan lawyer is said to have quit his career to join Shower International Ministry, a less known religious congregation linked to Nigerian heretic and self proclaimed prophet TB Joshua. Magu, his wife and their three children are reported to have died in a murder mystery in which Ann Wambui Wanyoro, a pastor at Shower International Ministry was questioned. The family housekeeper informed relatives that on Saturday November 22, 2014 she left Magu and his wife in the house when Magu sent her on an errand. When the housekeeper returned, Magu’s wife was not at home but the housekeeper noticed that something had been burnt on the grounds at the home. Pastor Ann is said to have stayed at the Muga residence between November 16 and 19 and performed what the housekeeper described as “cultist rituals”. The pastor is also said to have held prayer sessions with the lawyer in the bedroom on more than one occasion.
