Paula had the pasture blues tonight, so we took a little Kubota ride. Picked up the girls and Reed Plate as we went by. Felt pretty good that they gave up playing to go with us. Out through the pasture we went. Looked over the cattle, the corn, the 5 Sisters, the trestle, and the pond, before dropping the kids off. We should have kept them a little longer so they could see the dead snake and the crane flying over the creek. An hour or so ride and she was calm as could be. She even cooked me up some shrimp scampi for supper. We might go for a ride tomorrow night, too.
