It requires a physical for first time donors, (and one once a year thereafter), good health, at least 110 lbs., and proper ID. Donating plasma in Stevens Point pays $20 for the first session, $40 for the 2nd in a 6-day period; $60/week. It is nice to go with 3 or more people in order to make it cost-efficient with gas prices as they are. To drive down, donate, and drive back is about 2 1/2 hours commitment. I am planning to drive down on Tues. morning for a 10 am physical and then a donation to follow. If anyone is interested in going, please let me know.
